Glen Curtin

Born in Christchurch and resides in Linwood.

Interests in architecture, contemporary art, mid century furniture and surfing.

I decided to use spraycans as my medium. The clean fine lines and the evenness of the paint application appealed to me. The birch ply allows a fine surface to paint on but still allowing the grain of the veneer to subtly show through the paint.

My paintings I feel reflect my love of architecture and my love of the designs of hte 70s furniture.

Colour, contrast, precision and defined shapes feature in my art. Most of all I want to create an artwork that is unique and deserves a spot on your wall.
